Miki Iwata (岩田美喜) is a professor of English literature at Rikkyo University, Tokyo, specializing in British and Irish drama from the Renaissance to the early 20th century. Her first book in Japanese, The Lion and Hamlet (2002), is based on her PhD dissertation (in English) on W. B. Yeats’s drama, which was completed under Peter Robinson’s supervision at Tohoku University; her other Japanese books include Aspects of Postcolonial Criticism (2008, co-edited with Takushi Takeuchi), and, most recently, Rival Brothers in British and Irish Drama (2017).

岩田美喜　立教大学文学部英米文学専修教授。初の単著である『ライオンとハムレット』（2002）は、ピーター・ロビンソンの指導のもとで執筆した、W. B. イェイツの演劇を論じた博士論文を日本語に翻訳したもの。その他の出版物には、『ポストコロニアル批評の諸相』（2008、竹内拓史と共編）や、近著である『兄弟喧嘩のイギリス・アイルランド演劇』（2017）がある。
