Susan Laura Sullivan, whose photographs illustrate Plan B Audio by Jane Joritz-Nakagawa, is a co-editor of the award winning anthology, Women of a Certain Age, (Fremantle Press, 2018). The anthology has been described as ‘a landmark in Australian publishing’ (Niland, 2018). Her prose, poetry, essays and reviews have been widely published, most recently in Going Down Swinging, Gender Awareness in Language Education Journal, Westerly Magazine, Plumwood Mountain, Tokyo Poetry Journal and the Literature in Language Teaching Journal. Her work has featured in the anthologies Women of a Certain Age, In Their Branches (Harper Collins), Acupuncture for Turtles (Black Swan) and Second Degree Tampering (Sybylla Feminist Press). She has also taught creative writing at Curtin University and at a community level. Her photographs previously accompanied Jane Joritz-Nakagawa’s creative non-fiction, fibropoetics (GALE, 2018). She holds a Master of Creative Arts, and a Master of TESOL. Co-founder of the Toyohashi Writers Group, and a regular attendee at the Central Japan Literature Society, she currently resides and works in Japan.
